Carestation™ 650: A complete and scalable anaesthesia station

The Carestation™ 650 is an anaesthesia system designed to provide safe and efficient administration of medical gases and anaesthetic agents. It combines anaesthesia delivery, mechanical ventilation and monitoring functions on an intuitive user interface. Its 15-inch colour touch screen allows for simplified control and clear visualisation of vital and ventilatory parameters. Thanks to its modular design, the Carestation 650 can evolve with clinical needs: new features or ventilation capabilities can be added without completely replacing the system.

Ventilation technology for all patients

Equipped with electronic valve ventilation technology, the Carestation 650 supports a wide range of patients, from neonates to adults. It offers comprehensive ventilation modes:

• Volume Control Ventilation (VCV) with tidal volume compensation.
• Pressure Control Ventilation (PCV) with volumes measured from 5 ml.
• Pressure Support Ventilation with apnoea rescue (PSVPro™) for spontaneously breathing patients.
• SIMV (PCV, VCV, PCV-VG), CPAP + PSV, and PCV-VG.

These modes allow precise adaptation to clinical needs, with electronic PEEP management and the option of protective ventilation. The Carestation 650 also allows cardiac bypass ventilation (VCV Cardiac Bypass), ensuring optimal flexibility in different surgical contexts.

Ergonomics, safety and international compliance

Compact and mobile, the Carestation 650 is designed for seamless integration into hospital environments. Its cable management system, integrated drawers and ergonomic supports facilitate workstation organisation. The system includes safety alarms (pressure, expiratory volume, respiratory circuit integrity) and complies with international standards IEC 60601 and ISO 80601. The Compact Breathing System (CBS), which is removable and autoclavable, ensures quick and easy disinfection, guaranteeing hygiene and safety. Finally, the Carestation 650 complies with international standards for gas, oxygen and CO₂ monitoring and can integrate CARESCAPE™ modules for effective respiratory monitoring.
