Chemical Hood FH1800(E)

BioBase FH1800(E) – High-performance, safe chemical fume hood for demanding laboratories

The BioBase FH1800(E) chemical fume hood is specially designed to ensure operator safety and protection when handling volatile chemicals. It acts as a physical and dynamic barrier between the user and potentially hazardous vapours, ensuring a healthier working environment that complies with laboratory safety requirements.

Equipped with an integrated polypropylene centrifugal blower system, the FH1800(E) provides a constant and efficient air flow, capturing and removing harmful vapours. This integrated design facilitates installation and reduces noise pollution, improving working comfort. The exhaust system is completed by a PVC duct with a standard length of five metres, ensuring optimal connection to the outside.

The hood is controlled by a microprocessor system with LED display, allowing precise management of operating parameters. The user can adjust the air speed to nine different levels according to the specific requirements of each operation. This flexibility makes the FH1800(E) suitable for a wide range of applications, from organic chemistry experiments to the handling of corrosive reagents.

The structural design of the FH1800(E) emphasises robustness and chemical resistance. The exterior is made of 1.0 mm thick cold-rolled steel covered with an antibacterial powder coating, providing long-lasting protection against wear and microbial contamination. The interior is made of compact laminated panels, which are particularly resistant to acids and alkalis, while the worktop is made of chemically resistant phenolic resin, capable of withstanding the stresses of intensive use.

The ergonomics of the FH1800(E) have also been carefully designed. The 5 mm tempered glass front window is manually height-adjustable, allowing the user to adapt the opening to their needs while maintaining effective protection. The worktop is located at a height of 900 mm, ensuring a comfortable posture for the operator.

In the event of a power failure, the hood is equipped with a memory function that allows the previous settings to be quickly restored. Lighting is provided by a powerful LED lamp, offering optimal visibility of the work area without producing excessive heat.

The FH1800(E) comes with several standard accessories, including a polypropylene sink, a water tap, two waterproof sockets and a base cabinet for convenient storage. Additional options such as a gas tap or air flow control valve can be added to meet the specific needs of each laboratory.

Thanks to its performance, reliability and robust design, the BioBase FH1800(E) chemical fume hood is the ideal choice for academic, industrial and research laboratories, offering safety, efficiency and ease of use.
